To All:
My assignments are complicated, made of
several moving parts. They are so by design, to force you to
focus, to be conscious of what you are doing.
Because of the complexity, the least you can do is pay
attention.
Instead I found a degree of sloppiness and
messiness beyond the imaginable.
I waited to return them with corrections and
grade because I was hoping for some improvement and a minimum of
order. Instead, I am still dealing with chaos.
It seems that many of you can't even
concentrate long enough to get BOTH the filename and email
subject right.
Correct filename and email subject may make
no difference to you, but they do to me.
Do the tasks in order: first the notes, then
the numbered tasks.
Also, enough with email messages fired out
as if you were chatting on whazzup.
I want every message to open with a
salutation and close with a SIGNATURE.
It is proven that when people have to put a
signature to a message, their attention goes up. Yours
desperately need to rise quickly.
And, enough with excuses, more or less
credible. If you forgot something, or were late or whatever,
that's the way it is. Take responsibility for your actions or
inaction. To obtain an exception of any kind you better have a
compelling reason.
