America was never "white".. I really feel as if the idea of white supremacy does not exist anymore and those who still follow this are considered ignorant. There is too much diversity in the world to deem this planet as white. What makes whites so much better than any other race to make America "white"?
I think this article is hypocritical because this candidate says he wants America to be "white"again, but then carries on to say that he doesn't have a problem with people of color. He furthers goes on to say that he wants America to go back to having "no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration." However, that implies that people who are not "white" are causing the break-ins and violent crimes. This is an example of discrimination and stereotyping because he is blaming the bad of the country on non whites, which include people of color and different ethnic groups.
This article is such an opinion piece based on the writers opinion only. "Making America White Again" is absolutely disgusting how racist some people are. But yet reading through the article, the author mentions that he does not have a problem with people who are black. All he wants is basically America to be safe, but by him saying make America white again he is stating his opinion. His opinion is that the people of color are the ones causing the violent crimes and robberies.
WOW, this is disgustingly blatant. While I respect everyone's right to an opinion, it scares me that people with ignorance and hatred like this in their hearts are allowed to run for office. Also, saying that people of color are the reason for crime is going back to Lombroso and criminology, stating that people who commit crimes can be recognized by appearance alone and that non-whites have something in their biological makeup that make them prone to violence, which I find incredibly insulting.
This candidate thinks that by “making America white again” will make our country a safer place to live. He thinks that every other race besides white people are the cause of violence and crime. White people are just as at fault for crime as every other race living in this country. I understand that this candidate is entitled to his opinion, but this is a very big one to make.
I am angry and annoyed by that post. The candidate says that he wants America to go back to the 60's. There has always been people of color in America even in the 60's. He also states that he doesn't have a problem with colored people yet he makes that sign? He clearly is overlooking that getting rid of colored people will not make the country better. Everyone commits crimes no matter the skin color.
Yes it's an opinion, a very ignorant one. Unfortunately we can't stop people from having one, or a well-thought out one for that matter. By displaying signs of bigotry, and hiding them behind the First Amendment just shows the disgusting condition this world is in. Not everything a person says is gold and is necessary to say because a person thought of it all by him/herself.
I remember seeing this while scrolling on Facebook and being emotionless. Once again, it is unfortunate how these things do not surprise me. I give him the compliment that you know, he has a lot of guts to admit that out loud, and be proud of it. On the other hand we all know how this is unfortunate. Making America "white" again, is just another tactic to bring back the racial problems we had in the 60s. Since "whites" were in power, and had no issues with lynchings and the terrorist group with the white sheets were casually strolling just destroying blacks all of the time, I have almost become desensitized to news like this. I constantly have conversations about people like him, coming across people like him, fear is only a secondary emotion. What we should do is make sure people like him don't make the news what so ever. We should have these conversations as to why thoughts like this shouldn't be allowed and not bring attention to the moments in which racism conquerors us, but how we could conqueror racism, if we really want big change.
I can never understand a person that says "I do not hate people of color, but i believe America should go back to the 1960's". Clearly you hate a person if you wish them extremely persecution and discrimination. This is definitely an opinion and I highly doubt that as many people agree with him as he thinks.
"Tyler told WRCB that he does not hate people of color, but does believe America "should go back to the 1960s"
How can you believe this statement? This man is terrible, he didn't think of the negative feedback? How did his campaign allow this is a shock to me. Racism is all over his face. He wants America safe but doesn't realize violence is within all races.
This is most definitely just an opinion, and apparently he said it himself, that he respects "their rights to have an opinion," which states just as well that what he believes in is just an opinion. I am appalled however, at this statement. My opinion? He's a horrible excuse for a human.

"America was never white." I am so with you! How often can people forget this FACT. Not even an opinion, it's a fact.
